human rights in islam

Islam has been championing the human rights movement since the day of Holy Prophet(PBUH) and has always looked at it from a broader mind
human rights all over the world are;infact threatened by

  • excessive concentration of wealth and means of production and distribution and the most extravagants in the so-called advanced and devoloped countries of the world
  • racial discrimination
  • the growing and ever increasing gap between the affluent developed countries  and the poor developing  countries of the world
islam tech us that man is born free. no one has the right to deprive him of the basic necessities  such as food, clothing,shelter,and education. no goverment has the authority to violate the integrity of his person and to crub his right to freedom of thought of religion, of assembly,of speech and of movement both within and  outside the country
we have an example i.e
an important aspect of of all early african american muslims movement was thier emphasis of themeselves  as distinctively diffrent from other americans.

                                 it was also durinng an early time, th eafrican american muslims began of islam and what it actually meant to be a muslims. an early 1900's there were no books on islam and even encyclopedias at the time erronously classified islam as a "mohammdan" religion implying it was the mohammad version of "jesus". yet contrary  to these obstacles early converts did in fact declare"There is no God, but Allah" but by far, the greatest challenge to the identity was verying culture, that gripped the country from the 1970's and beyond . before this massive immigration, the collective american conciousness only knew of mulims  as "those funny dressed"

if ever human bieng in the world will consider every other human bieng as a brother, then even the idea of the war will cease to exist. is this possible???? we have many examples of  world of small communities  living in love and brotherhoodd. if this is possible for even a few human biengs, the idea of universal  brotherhood is just expension of the idea in islam with universal  brotherhood, there is no such things as countries or border.
if thre is  just more love in the world than at present, the world will be a beautifull place to life in indeed.
another important aspect of human rights is;
islam recognises the position of woman to be the same as that of man... it claims that both come from the same essence. in a woman we find a three diffrent personalities a mother, a wife and a daughter. islam has clearly defined and determined the status of woman in society. according to the teachings of islam men and woman enjoy equal rights in our society but thier duties are diffrent her main and sacred duties are to act according to the wishes of her husband. however, islam does not prevent the woman fromserving in the various social institutions..
